TERM AND CONDITIONS OF COMMUNITY SUPERVISION 

The Court placed you on community supervision for a certain length and ordered you to comply with specific conditions. Please refer to your court order for the specific term and conditions you must meet in order to remain in satisfactory compliance.

WEB REPORTING PRIVILEGE

You may qualify for web reporting if you are compliant with all the terms and conditions of your court order for six or more consecutive months. Your assigned community supervision officer is the only person that can assess your case and grant you web reporting privileges. 

Web reporting will save you time and money. To qualify for web reporting, we encourage you to comply with the full and timely payment of your child support, court cost, attorney fees, supervision fees, parenting classes, referrals, and any instructions given by your community supervision officer. 

Failure to comply with the court’s order will result in the revocation of your web reporting privilege and you will have to resume reporting in person each month. 
 

MOTIONS TO REVOKE PROCESS

Officers will prepare a request for a Motion to Revoke if you have failed to comply with the court's order. They will alleged violations in the request, which may include failure to: report, pay child support, pay medical support, pay arrearage payments, maintain insurance, pay insurance premiums, reimburse medical expense, pay fees, attend counseling, secure employment, and attend employment assistance services. 

If a motion to revoke is filed, a warrant for your arrest will be requested. 

The motion and warrant will be sent to the court for signature and then forwarded to the sheriff or constable for execution. 

When an arrest is made, a hearing will be held to determine if the alleged violations were true. The officer will be called to court to testify. 

The prosecuting attorney will be requesting that the court revoke your sentence and incarcerate you for the amount of days suspended in the community supervision order.

Domestic Relations Office Parent Workshops  

​Parents placed on community supervision may be required to attend a parenting class through the Domestic Relations Officer Parent Workshop within three months of their initial intake.  The classes are taught by professionals and they focus on important topics such as; managing stress, communicating with children and the other parent, resolving conflict, learning discipline, and co-parenting.

The three classes offered for community supervision participants are: 

Building New Beginnings – This 12-hour workshop is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in six, 2-hour segments. 

Dads Count – workshop is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in four, 2-hour sessions. 

Moms Matter – is an in-person workshop/is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in two, 2-hour sessions.
