Domestic Relations Office Parent Workshops
Parents placed on community supervision may be required to attend a parenting class through the Domestic Relations Officer Parent Workshop within three months of their initial intake. The classes are taught by professionals and they focus on important topics such as; managing stress, communicating with children and the other parent, resolving conflict, learning discipline, and co-parenting.

The three classes offered for community supervision participants are:
Building New Beginnings – This 12-hour workshop is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in six, 2-hour segments.
Dads Count – workshop is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in four, 2-hour sessions.
Moms Matter – is an in-person workshop/is conducted on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in two, 2-hour sessions.
