Making a Fresh Start: Positive Co-Parenting After Divorce or Separation

The Domestic Relations Office's "Making a Fresh Start" parenting workshop, which is designed for divorced, separated, and never married parents, provides parents with the tools they need to build a positive co-parenting relationship.  Topics include information on effective co-parenting strategies, handling finances, general legal issues, the impact of divorce on children, abuse and domestic violence issues, and much more. This 4-hour workshop, which meets Texas Family Code requirements, will offer strategies for breaking out of old, unproductive patterns of interacting with one another, help parents shift their attention toward the needs of their children, and teach the skills needed to build a positive co-parenting relationship.

The “Making a Fresh Start” workshop is offered on ZOOM via a live, interactive presentation in two, 2-hour segments.
